Vancase is a Waikato-based building company, formed in 2021 by two friends who met on the rugby field as kids.
After getting qualified and persuing corporate construction careers, we could see an opportunity to collaborate and combine our unique blend of building, quantity surveying, business management and project management skills.
Specialising in commercial building projects and insurance repair, Vancase offers a full range of building design, project management and building services from concept through to handover.
Unlike the bigger construction companies, every client relationship is personal to us and we'll work hard to deliver and ensure your project comes in on time and in budget.

Kieran is a qualified builder and quantity surveyor, who has been working in the construction industry for more than 12 years across commercial and residential building.
After completing his building apprenticeship in the Waikato, he went on to obtain a Diploma in Quantity Surveying. He then worked as a Quantity Surveyor in Christchurch and London before settling in Cambridge and working as a Construction Manager for a prominent Hamilton company.
In 2021, he cofounded Vancase with Tom, and takes a lead on the estimating, quantity surveying, and administration aspects of the business as well as working in the day-to-day operations of the business.
Outside of work, Kieran’s three young daughters keep him busy while he also enjoys time at the beach, running and staying fit.

Tom is an experienced builder and project manager with a career spanning both residential and commercial projects.
He qualified as a builder in the Waikato before studying business management at Waikato University. He then moved to Christchurch and completed a Diploma of Construction Management. He then spent 12 years at Naylor Love working as a Project Manager, with seven of those in Christchurch, three in Auckland and two in the Waikato. For two of those years he was part of the senior management team within the business, allowing him to grow his high-level knowledge of the construction industry while furthering his management skills.
In 2021, he cofounded Vancase with his childhood rugby friend Kieran. Tom takes a lead on operations, construction management and client liaison / new business within Vancase.
Outside of work Tom enjoys playing golf, coaching rugby, hunting and chilling with family and friends.
